• New: Quicker switching between nearby windows. When you switch to something in the same spot as where you were, such as another tab in the same browser window, it appears instantly instead of fading through black.

• Fixed: Rapid back-and-forth switching. Switching again before the activation animation finishes now plays a short version instead of starting the full animation over.

• Fixed: Previews for local files. Browser tabs showing local files (file://) can now show previews. If the browser's "Allow access to file URLs" setting is off, Tabber shows a one-click link to turn it on.

• Fixed: Clearer placeholders. Browser settings pages, extension stores and protected windows (such as some Zoom meetings) show a lock placeholder instead of a blank or wrong preview.

• Fixed: Separate extension install buttons for each browser. Each button opens in the right browser, not your default one.
