This is a beta. Be honest!
Tabber
Tabber replaces the Windows Alt-Tab task switcher. Task switching between apps is something you do dozens or hundreds of times a day. Tabber makes switching simpler so you maintain your context and keep your flow.
Tabber is different:
-
Tabber appears on all screens at once. When you activate it, Tabber appears where you’re already looking.
-
The Tabber screen organization combines recently used with app groups. You can choose the most recently used window or select the most recently used app. You make your selection with the fewest keystrokes.
-
Navigate with the Q, W, A, S keys or the arrow keys for one-hand or two-hand operation.
-
Release Alt, and the selected window appears before the rest of the Tabber UI fades, followed by a blinking outline to highlight where you need to look next.
Troubleshooting
Known Issues
-
Uninstalling Tabber when using the browser extension might not cleanly finish--prompt for a reboot. Close the browser and Tabber entirely and the uninstall will finish cleanly.
-
Microsoft Defender blocks the initial download and displays terrifying message when running the MSI installer. Click through these blockers.
